To make a home or office 'more intelligent', a 'manufacturer-independent' bus system (EIB) is installed to take the place of the traditional electrical installation.
Via this system, the usual functions such as lighting, roll-down shutters, heating, ventilation, the alarm installation and the music system 'communicate'.
